Praises and Prayer Concerns for the week of
May 14-20, 2012

- Egypt: Pray for Ken and Keli Oldham and family that their learning the new language and immersing themselves in a new culture continues to progress.
- Tanzania: Pray for Scott and Deanna Compton and children as they depart the U.S. this week to their new home and ministries overseas.
- Philippines: Pray for the church leaders as they struggle with finances for the churches and for the recruitment and training of new pastors. Pray that God blesses the church in these endeavors.
- Japan: Pray for the Tamagawa Seigakuin school orientation camp for first year junior and senior high students being held this week. For many of these girls it will be the first time of learning about Christianity.
- Latin America: Continue to pray for the leaders from the six countries who recently participated in the International Forum. Pray that they may implement the 2X20 challenge to plant new churches.
- United States: Praise God that Global Missions staff member Kathi Sellers’ grandson, who was born prematurely, has been released from the hospital without any restrictions and is at home with his parents and siblings.
